Medical Resources

One of the best things a prospective parent can do to prepare for an international adoption is to learn about the diseases and conditions to which the child is susceptible. A lot of the time these conditions are geographically related, for example children from China may have specific medical conditions that differ from the conditions of Russian children.

In addition, this section also lists international medical clinics, a resource for parents traveling abroad to pick up a child. When medical care is necessary and you are far from home, it's comforting and practical to know where you can find a doctor.
