Finally, we asked parents whether their child was exceptionally good at any of the things listed in this slide. Parents could check more than one area.

We see from this that children from Korea have a number of exceptional strengths in academic areas. That fits with the percent who are selected as gifted/talented.

In addition, many parents said their children were exceptionally good at making and keeping friends.

All these talents would lead us to expect that children from Korea are busy in and out of school.
